In part due to a grant given by the Texas State Parents’ Association, the Department of Communication Disorders was able to take three second-year graduate students and a faculty sponsor on an academic field trip to Costa Rica over spring break. Highlights of the trip included collaborating with Costa Rican speech language pathologists at an outpatient rehabilitation center.  Thank you Texas State Parents’ Association for providing us with funding to pursue this cultural learning experience!
