Early Detection of MCI

The purpose of this study is to assess speech-language and cognitive abilities in two groups each with 10 participants. The first group will have adults who have a physician-diagnosed Mild Cognitive Impairment, and the second group will consist of adults who are age and education-matched and negative history of neurological disorders/injury. 
All testing is free of cost and participants may choose to not participate or withdraw from the study at any time. 
The potential benefits of this study will result in preliminary information about how age affects communication abilities. Participants will receive a $20 gift card after each visit as compensation for their time and valuable contribution to the study. 
All personal information will remain confidential.
