The Department of Communication Disorders is thrilled to welcome Ms. Alisha Richmond as a tenure-track, assistant professor. Ms.Richmond earned her master's degree in Communication Disorders from North Carolina Central University. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Her research interests include early childhood intervention, autism spectrum disorders, service delivery models, and multicultural issues in communication sciences and disorders. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses within the department. She has served as a speech-language pathologist in outpatient and educational settings.
