Senior CLS students Audri Cavazos, Lucy Hughes, and John Sullivan were awarded the Excellent Poster Presentation by our College of Health Professions (CHP).  Each spring the CHP hosts a peer-reviewed Faculty-Student Research Forum for the purpose of sharing research and educational topics in Allied Health.  Audri, Lucy, and John's abstract was entitled "Real-Time PCR for Chlamydia pneumoniae Utilizing the Roche Lightcycler and a 16S rRNA Gene Target" which was accepted for the student educational poster platform.  CLS students participate in the Research Forum each year and it provides real-world experience with presentation of different clinical laboratory topics.
