The HA Conference and Recognition Dinner is scheduled for Friday, October 23, at the new Embassy Suites in San Marcos. The HA Conference is scheduled from 2-5 and will feature presentations by our two Herkimer Award winners and a keynote presentation on ethics. Immediately following the Conference will be a reception. From 6-8 will be the HA Recognition Dinner with faculty awards, student awards, and alumni awards. The Dinner also serves as the induction ceremony for Upsilon Phi Delta—the healthcare management honor society. HA graduate students with a 3.5 GPA in their first 21 hours in the major and HA undergraduate students with a 3.25 GPA in their first 21 hours of the major will be invited to be inducted. Outstanding graduate students for HHR and HSR will also be recognized.
Attendees planning to stay overnight at the Embassy Suites should ask for the Bobcat Pride rate of $129. There are a limited number of rooms available at the discounted rate and will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
