2007 HA Conference & Awards Banquet
LBJ Student Center Ballroom
Friday, October 26
th beginning at 2:00pm
This year, the HA Conference hosted the Dr. Jack H.U. & Jessie Brown Endowed Lecture in Healthcare Ethics. Dr. Glenn Graber, Professor at University of Tennessee at Knoxville, was the keynote speaker and presented his lecture "Individual Conscience, Institutional Mission, Professional Code: Which Allegiance is Primary." The Conference was again held in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom.
The Awards Banquet followed from 6:00 to 8:00 in the evening. During that time the Outstanding Alumni for 2007 were recognized and the School distributed awards or honors earned by students. We also held the 2
nd induction ceremony for the healthcare management honors society - Upsilon Phi Delta.

2006 HA Conference & Awards Banquet
The 2006 HA Conference again featured new faculty and student/alumni award winners. The keynote presentation featured our newest faculty member, Philippa Strelitz, PhD, on the topic of cultural competence. The conference was held in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom from 2-5pm on Friday, November 17th. In addition to recognizing the School's Outstanding Alumni, the banquet from 6-8pm recognized faculty and students for awards received in the last year and served as the first induction ceremony for our healthcare management honors society - Upsilon Phi Delta. Graduate students with a 3.5 GPR in their first 21 hours in the major and undergraduate students with a 3.25 GPA in their first 21 hours of the major were invited to be inducted.
