Dr. Bryan C. Schneider has served in the healthcare administration profession for over 20 years in such roles as hospital Chief Executive Officer, and Associate Vice-President for a large academic health system. He currently serves in preparing the next generation of healthcare administration professionals as an Assistant Professor at Texas State University. He continues to serve as a Medical Service Corps officer in the Texas Air National Guard. Dr. Schneider’s career in health care administration began with active duty service in the United States Air Force, and subsequent transition to community health care where he experienced progressive success and advancement. He has held senior leadership positions within several hospital and health system structures, owing his success to a strong work ethic, professional development and servant leadership principles. Dr. Schneider has earned Board Certification and Fellow status with the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
Major Research Interests:
1) Prioritization and funding models for therapeutic levels of care relative to government entitlement programs and health systems.
2) Cultural diversity and economic drivers in global health delivery models.
