Faculty receive College Excellence Awards for 2007
The College of Health Professions announces the 2007 Faculty Excellence Awards and the winners include Dr. Jim Summers for teaching excellence, Dr. Ram Shanmugam for research excellence, and Dr. Oren Renick for service excellence. The awards will be presented at the College faculty meeting on August 26, 2008.

Nowicki receives ACHE Service Award
Dr. Michael Nowicki received the ACHE Service Award in 2008. Through his volunteer efforts, Nowicki has played a critical role over the last 30 years in strengthening the American College of Healthcare Executives as a profession.

Mooney receives Presidential Award for Excellence in Service from President Trauth
Robert Mooney, Associate Professor of Health Administration, will receive the Presidential Award for Excellence in Service from President Trauth at the University Convocation and General Faculty Meeting on August 26. Mr. Mooney will be the third faculty member in the School of Health Administration to receive a Presidential Award for Excellence: Dr. Nowicki received a Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching in 1991 and Dr. Burke received a Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching in 1999.
