Safe @ Home

The Safe @ Home project is an extension of the Mutual Adoption Pact in which students go to elderly or disable residents' homes to determine whether work is needed to ensure safety in the home.  This work can be very basic, general tasks not easily handled by the resident due to age or disability such as checking smoke detectors or more extensive work such as ramp construction or other repairs.  For more information concerning Safe @ Home please contact the grant director, Dr. Oren Renick, at 512.245.2460 or by email at cr13@txstate.edu.
