American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE)                                  
 
ACHE is the international professional society for healthcare leaders. HLC members are active in local chapters of ACHE and regularly attend conferences, events, and the annual Congress on Healthcare Leadership. Through such efforts, student affiliates can earn ACHE continuing education credits and work toward achieving ACHE member status as healthcare executives. Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA)                                 

HFMA is the nation's leading membership organization for healthcare financial management executives and leaders. Medical Group Management Association (MGMA)                              

MGMA serves 21,000 members who lead and manage more than 12,500 organizations in which almost 270,000 physicians practice. Texas Organization or Rural & Community Hospitals (TORCH)                                        

TORCH is dedicated to assisting general acute care hospitals of 150 beds and less by addressing the issues unique to rural and community hospitals and recognizing their many contributions to rural health care.
The organization provides legislative and regulatory advocacy, specialized programs, publications, services and resources for rural and community hospitals; and supports rural and community hospitals as the focal point for health care delivery in the community.
