Physical Therapy Clinic

The Texas State Physical Therapy Clinic is an extension of the physical therapy program. The clinic is open to see a variety of patient types. Graduate PT students rotate into the clinic and treat patients with orthopedic injuries (strains, pains, fractures, and post surgery). The students are closely supervised by expert clinicians with 12-20 years experience. The incentive for patients to receive services at our clinic is consistent one-on-one attention in a slow paced clinic environment where the patient receives high quality clinical care.

Our pay by the visit also assists persons without insurance. The cost per visit is comparable to most co-pays.

We also have contracts with local entities that care for persons who have sustained brain injuries or mental/physical handicaps. The clinic serves to enhance our PT student’s clinic education and to serve the Texas State student population and the San Marcos community with quality care.
