Each fall and spring semester include intense clinical experience with 16 contact hours per week of hospital-based RC clinical training for 15 weeks and 32 contact hours per week for a 5 week session in the first summer.  The RC Faculty is directly involved and present in the clinical setting to teach and in the classroom on campus.  Our pre-clinical training offers students the opportunity to learn each treatment procedure in a lab setting and to practice the skills on a classmate before going to the hospital setting.   All clinical skills are assessed and "checked-off" three times to ensure that each student has the necessary skills to practice competent Respiratory Care therapeutics.
