Comprehensive Stuttering Therapy Program

The Comprehensive Stuttering Therapy Program (CSTP) is a 2-week intensive clinic designed for adolescents and adults who stutter (12 years and older). The program, established in 2011, is offered by the Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic every July. In addition to the intensive clinic in July, the CSTP includes an additional semester of follow-up therapy (can be conducted online) to help with retaining skills learned during the summer intensive.

The program is coordinated by Dr. Farzan Irani. His research focuses on treatment outcomes for people who stutter. To learn more about Dr. Irani and his research interests please click here.

*Adolescents attending the program need to be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. Please contact Dr. Irani (firani@txstate.edu) for more information.

SUMMER 2017 REGISTRATION: The intensive portion of the CSTP is scheduled from July 10 - July 20, 2017. The intensive program will meet daily from 10 am to 6 pm on weekdays. Please click here for a sample schedule.
