In order to qualify for the CSTP, you must be at least 12 years of age and have stuttering onset during childhood (typically 2-5 years of age). For participants under 18 years of age, parental consent and involvement is required.
If you have any questions about your eligibility to participate in the program, please contact Dr. Irani via email.
Registration for the CSTP will remain open till May, 2017. However, it is important to register early to secure your spot. Our intake capacity is limited to 5 and registration will close earlier if we reach capacity.
Intake capacity for the CSTP is limited to 5 participants. The registration for the CSTP is closed when 5 participants register for the CSTP. At this time, while we will not be able to accept new participants we will accept requests to be added to the "waitlist". Being accepted to the waitlist however, does not guarantee acceptance to the program.
Due to various circumstances, participants who have registered for the program might drop out before the program begins. If a registered participant drops out of the program before the program begins, we will contact the first person on the waitlist to fill the vacant spot. The process will be repeated till all vacant spots are filled, or the program begins. Please email us (firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com) if you have any questions about the waitlist or the CSTP.
The cost for attending the CSTP is $600.00. This will cover the cost of all therapy services offered.
You will need to pay for your own lodging, meals and any other expenses you incur during your stay in San Marcos.
Payment will be due the first day of the Intensive Clinic.
*Further scholarships might be available for those who demonstrate a need. Please contact Alice Zamora at the Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic to inquire if you qualify for an additional scholarship.
*A parent of legal guardian is required to stay with any participants under 18 years of age.
