Transcript Evaluation for Out-of-State and International Transcripts
Only our Office of Undergraduate Admissions can officially evaluate transcripts from outside Texas. Therefore, you will need to do the following to initiate an evaluation of your coursework:
- Please send official transcripts for all previously earned college coursework to our Undergraduate Admissions Office.
- Submit an application to Texas State University for the semester you anticipate entering the university. You do not have to submit the application fee at this time, but having an application on file will initiate the evaluation process. After you have met with an advisor, if you choose to attend Texas State for the anticipated entry semester, you can submit the application fee at that time.
- Please provide a list of each institution attended, any possible names on transcripts (maiden names, previously used names, etc.), and your date of birth below. This will allow us to locate your evaluated transcripts when available, as well as to confirm all possible transcripts have been evaluated.
- Please let us know what your anticipated timeline is for applying to Texas State.
Admissions can take a few weeks to evaluate transcripts, so I would advise you to send your transcripts as soon as possible to facilitate the evaluation process.
