While this page is directed at our CLS Junior (1st year students), others can certainly check these opportunities out!
All, If you have no coursework this summer to finish off, and if you do not have major plans to work, travel, etc…..then CHECK OUT some of these opportunities. I think our CLS students would be very competitive in these applications. I completed an internship as an undergraduate and also did a CDC Visiting Scientist as a professional. And, as you may have heard, we had a recent student, Lindsey B. Coulter, obtain an EID CDC Fellowship which she just started at CDC in Atlanta (Fall 2014, but that opportunity is for after graduation)! Lindsey was the FIRST Ever CDC Fellow from our university and she came from CLS!!! These events can change the course of your career, and really, your life. Give em a look….
