About HLC

HLC

We are the School of Health Administration student professional society that invites emerging healthcare leaders to unite among a forum designed to promote academic, professional, and social support.  HLC proudly and consistently seeks to inspire students in fulfilling the organizational motto: Raising the Standards of Healthcare.

We focus on student involvement and making the organization the best it can be for HA students.  We are working on study groups and tips for classes from past students who have been successful.

This organization is a great way to network inside and outside of Texas State.  Not to mention it is a great thing to have on your resume.  Student Involvement in major organizations is a very beneficial tool to possess for the purpose of applying to internships, jobs, and other organizations.

Being a member will give you the opportunity to participate in discussions on current healthcare topics and listen to Healthcare Professionals views, experiences, and advice.  We participate and host events, fundraisers, and volunteer activities.  We also travel to healthcare related conferences and discussions together hosted by professional organizations.
