Nursing Information Sessions:

The School of Nursing will be hosting Information Sessions during the fall semester.  These sessions will be aimed at helping answer questions about the admission process, application, and other relevant information for students who are interested in pursuing nursing at Texas State.  These sessions are not intended to provide academic advising for the Spring 2010 semester.  For information about advising for the spring, please see the above section entitled "Pre-Nursing Group Advising."

Ms. Lynn Heimerl, the School of Nursing Admission and Retention Coordinator, will conduct these information sessions during the days and times listed in the link below.  Please make note that some of the sessions will be on the San Marcos campus, while others will be at the Round Rock Higher Education Center.

About the Advising Center:

The College of Health Professions Academic Advising Center's regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. During the Fall semester, the center is also open Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There are three full-time advisors in the College of Health Professions – Sara Boysen, Laura Daniels, and Kimberly Stone. The center is located in Room 207 of the Health Professions Building. To schedule an advising appointment, call 512.245.3506, or if you are on campus you may schedule your appointment in person.
